As Design Manager Technical Installations, you will lead the design discipline within complex renovations of tunnels, bridges, and locks. From the tender stage onwards, you will take the lead and ensure that engineering and design processes are tightly organized. You will monitor interfaces, documentation, and requirements verification and work according to an Agile methodology. You are the point of contact for both internal teams and clients and suppliers.

• Liaising with clients and suppliers

• Coaching and acting as a point of reference for a team of 10-40 lead engineers, engineers, and modelers

• Organizing, coordinating, and commissioning the writing of design documents and the execution of requirements verifications

• Designing and managing engineering in accordance with the requirements and wishes of clients, including internal and external consultations

• Making conscious design choices and structuring and aligning design processes and components

• Ensuring the correct setup of calculations and drawings and monitoring coherence within and between sub-installations

• Managing interfaces between sub-installations and disciplines such as civil structures, road and hydraulic engineering, and cables and pipelines

• Setting up, managing, and monitoring your part of the Agile work process

• Reporting to the project manager

• Working on renovations of tunnels, bridges, and locks

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus
