What we're looking for

Can you handle the challenge?
To hit the ground running as a junior sampler, you have completed at least an MBO education in laboratory, civil, environmental, or cultural technology, or an education directly equivalent to this. Think, for example, of the MBO training for a gardener or field worker.

But more is required for the position: You have a driver's license and are available at least 32 hours per week from Monday to Friday and occasionally in the evening or on the weekend. You will be provided with a company car from SGS for your activities.

You do not mind performing physically heavy work. Additionally, you have a service-oriented attitude and a service-minded outlook. Furthermore, your oral and written skills are good. Safety, quality, and integrity are non-negotiable for you.

The role

What you'll do

Are you a go-getter and have you completed a civil engineering, environmental, cultural technology, or laboratory education? And do you want to work outdoors? Then this position is for you!

Your responsibilities

As a junior sampler, you are responsible for our laboratory for sampling at various locations in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad. The sampling is focused on shaped and unshaped construction materials. Occasionally, you will also perform measurements on-site on construction materials, raw materials, and components of road constructions, pavements, and sports fields.

If you start as a junior sampler within our team, you will be fully trained to become an experienced sampler. From day 1, a training program will be mapped out for you. In which, with the right guidance, training, and coaching, you will develop into an expert in the field.
