Technical Inspector

• You have a completed technical MBO education, for example in Mechanical Engineering (WTB) or electrical engineering.
• (Electro)technical knowledge of and experience with the repair and maintenance of motors and other mechanical installations is a plus.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language is a must.

As a Technical Inspector at Boskalis Environmental, you contribute to sustainable soil solutions by monitoring and continuously improving the technical quality of our soil remediation plants - even as a starter, you will have plenty of room to grow here. With your technical affinity, you ensure safe, efficient, and future-oriented environmental technology.

You participate in the preparation, planning, organization, and (supervising the) execution of planned repairs and modifications to equipment.

• Performing technical inspections on the soil remediation plants in Schiedam, Alkmaar, and Amersfoort.
• Identifying and following up on malfunctions, deviations, and unsafe situations.
• Supporting maintenance and repair activities, from planning to execution.
• Collaborating on the execution of repair/maintenance projects in the most efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly manner possible.
• Coordinating necessary materials and employees.
• Collaborating with operators, mechanics, and environmental specialists on location.
• Reporting and working according to the SHE-Q policy with a focus on safety and improvement.

• Work location: your base is Capelle aan den IJssel, but you will also work at our various soil remediation plants in Schiedam, Alkmaar, and Amersfoort.
• Full-time/part-time: this concerns a full-time appointment (40 hours per week).
