As an Accountancy Assurance SME Intern, you will work for our SME practice in Breda. You will work together with a team on other Assurance engagements and on assignments related to Assurance under the guidance of a responsible Accountant. You will deal with a diversity of assignment types. This varies from compilation engagements to review engagements and from subsidy audits to performing pre-audit activities.

A glimpse of your tasks:

• You perform pre-audit activities;

• You work on other audit and Assurance-related assignments such as subsidy audits and review engagements;

• You investigate the internal controls of an organization;

• You support the compilation of annual accounts.

You possess decisiveness and analytical ability. You are critical, accurate, and love diversity. You are customer-oriented, but also dare to ask follow-up questions when the situation calls for it. Finally, you keep a cool head during busy periods.

Furthermore, we ask:

• You are pursuing an HBO Accountancy degree;

• You have experience with Assurance engagements (pre);

• You have the ambition to begin applying your already acquired knowledge in practice. In short, to develop yourself on a professional and personal level.
