24 vacation days per year.
You work at our Campus in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. An open office with plenty of light and a large garden.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner from our own chefs using products from our own store, freshly cooked every day.
20% staff discount and unlimited Upfront products for personal use.
A private gym and wellness area with ice baths, sauna, showers, and changing rooms.
A MacBook and a SIM card for your business contacts.
Weekly Hyrox classes and runs with the team.
And perhaps the most beautiful: the freedom. You decide for yourself how to approach your work. Within your field, you are the expert, and that is how we treat you. We love to give you the space to come up with and implement your own ideas.
The role
Upfront, the food industry wants to simplify things by taking the entire chain into its own hands. We started with our own sports nutrition brand, are now opening our Foodstores throughout the Netherlands, and will soon take production completely into our own hands as well. We build everything ourselves, from our products and stores to the systems behind them. That is only possible with the best people in every field, who take ownership of what they make.
What you'll do
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner for our team in the public sector. For multiple projects, we are assembling a core team that designs, builds, and runs the operation. Your part in that: ensuring our producers deliver on time, in full, and according to all requirements. You report to the project leader and work closely with two product developers and a Supply Chain Coordinator. First, you will get to know your suppliers and projects inside out and set up the systems and data. After a year, you will see your work reflected in an excellent service level, and especially in producers who enjoy working with us. That chain and those relationships belong to you.
Some weeks you build the planning: forecasts and safety stocks, translated into when we purchase what. Other weeks you sit at the table with a producer to sharpen delivery reliability, or you check whether a delivery meets all specifications. And you do that with multiple suppliers at the same time. We are looking for someone who performs both types of work with the same sharpness: accurate with the numbers, and clear yet pleasant at the table.
Responsibilities
Translate forecasts and safety stocks into procurement moments
Monitor the OTIF of our producers and adjust where there are deviations
Build strong relationships with our supplier base
Verify whether every delivery meets all specifications, documentation, and requirements
Contribute to building the systems, processes, and data upon which the planning runs
