Facility Manager

• €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month, depending on experience.

We are looking for a Facility Manager for our Campus in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. You will ensure that all colleagues here can do their best work five days a week. Our headquarters, the factory, foodstore, warehouse, and the suppliers that keep it all running fall under your responsibility.

Some weeks you will be busy with the big tasks: setting up new workstations because another team is joining, renegotiating a contract with a new party, or planning a renovation without work coming to a standstill. Other weeks it is about an access malfunction or a delivery that gets stuck. You are someone who can plan ahead and simultaneously wants to solve matters immediately.

With this growth, the Campus is constantly changing. What fits today will be too small in six months. You ensure that the Campus stays ahead of that growth. You build up the facility processes, choose the partners, and make decisions autonomously.

• Manage the daily facility matters on the Campus: workstations, meeting rooms, kitchen, gym, and wellness area

• Plan and supervise expansions and renovations, so that there is space for every new team

• Select, contract, and manage suppliers, from cleaning and security to maintenance and installations, while monitoring costs

• Draw up a maintenance plan for the building and the installations, and ensure that malfunctions are resolved quickly and structurally

• Guarantee safety and compliance: BHV (Emergency Response), evacuation plans, fire safety, and Arbo (Occupational Health and Safety) requirements

• Liaise with the manager of the Van Nelle Fabriek regarding everything that affects the building

• Work together with HR to ensure that every new colleague has a workstation, access, and everything they need on day one

• You maintain an overview of many ongoing matters at once and determine the priorities yourself

• You are hands-on: you tackle a malfunction just as easily as a tender

• You negotiate sharply with suppliers and hold them to their agreements

• You know the rules regarding safety, BHV, and Arbo, and translate them into something that works in practice
