Store Manager (Amsterdam)

For this role, you live in or around Amsterdam and work full-time (40 hours).

Upfront is coming to Amsterdam! In December, we are opening our first Foodstores in the city, and we are looking for the founding team who will help build the success of the stores from day one.

After five years of building our brand, they are finally standing. Our first real store: The Upfront Foodstore. A complete assortment of over 200 affordable products, without ultra-processed food. Grocery shopping these days has become a kind of bingo; you walk through a promotional flyer and ultimately end up with products you didn't actually want to buy. We do things differently, and in doing so, we return to the basics. We place all products against the wall in vertical strips, with fruit and vegetables low in the middle. This gives you an immediate overview, tranquility, and the convenience to do your shopping. All products are our own brand, so you always know what you are buying.

In December, we are opening our first Foodstores in Amsterdam. You will become the store manager of one of our stores. You are ultimately responsible for everything that happens in the Foodstore, from the team and turnover to how the store looks when the doors open at 8 AM. You will manage the assistant store managers and report to the regional manager.

One day you are on the floor yourself when it is busy, jumping behind the register. The other day you are working with schedules, stock, and your store's figures.
