The anticipated salary range for this full-time position is €5,200.00 - €7,150.00. The starting compensation will be determined based on skills, experience and qualifications.

As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance activities within the recycling plant. You ensure maximum availability of the technical installations and own the department objectives and KPIs. In this role, you lead the maintenance team and work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to minimize downtime and increase the reliability of the installations.
Responsibilities
Maintenance activities
o Leading maintenance without safety incidents;
o Ensuring maintenance complies with laws and regulations, permits, and internal procedures;
o Managing the Maintenance team;
o Collaborating effectively with Operations;
o Minimizing unplanned downtime and intervening quickly during malfunctions;
o Planning necessary production stops in consultation with Operations and Supply Chain;
o Performing preventive maintenance and ensuring sufficient resources (personnel, contractors, spare parts);
o Managing spare parts inventory to guarantee availability.
Plant optimization
o Implementing and securing the management of change process;
o Improving reliability via cause-and-effect analysis;
o Developing and executing preventive maintenance plans;
o Evaluating technical problems and implementing improvements;
o Controlling maintenance costs and structuring processes;
o Providing input for supplier evaluations.
Personnel management
o Coaching and supporting Maintenance Leaders and their teams;
o Active role in recruitment and selection, training, and reducing absenteeism;
o Conducting annual personnel evaluations;
o Advising on sanctions, rewards, and promotions;
o Creating a good working atmosphere.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality
o Supervising compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures;
o Acting during emergencies to limit damage and risks;
o Making colleagues aware of safety and environmental aspects;
o Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment;
o Reporting safety issues to the internal safety department.
o HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent through experience in Maintenance Management; or
o Extensive experience in a maintenance environment and in a leadership role;
o Good command of the Dutch and English languages, German is a plus;
o In possession of a VCA VOL certificate.

They saw a wonderful opportunity to sustainably process plastic waste by developing the same quality as classical polymers. Today, our plant is a thriving organization of +/- 70 employees. The Maintenance department consists of 9 employees.
