Requirements

What we're looking for

  • An education in a related field with an economic direction, for example: HR, management assistant, or administration

  • HBO working and thinking level.

  • At least four years of relevant and recent work experience.

  • Experience with HR administration and recruitment and selection.

  • An excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

  • Good digital skills and extensive experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with AFAS or within a hospital is a plus, but not a requirement.

The role

A small organization with an important role

The Coöperatie Medische Staf represents all medical specialists at St Jansdal hospital. From our business office, we support the medical specialists and the board in the areas of HR, finance, policy, and organization.

You will join a small and committed team, in which we work closely together and there is plenty of room for your own initiative. The lines of communication are short and you will receive the freedom and responsibility to shape your work independently.

What you'll do

What will you do?

You will have a varied role in which HR and secretarial support come together. Colleagues will know how to find you. You are the point of contact who ensures that things do not get left behind. You oversee the whole picture, connect the lines between tasks, and ensure that processes run smoothly. In doing so, you do not wait for something to land on your desk.

In the area of HR, you will be involved in, among other things:

  • Drafting and managing employment and membership agreements and documents regarding practice transfers.

  • Carefully maintaining personnel files.

  • Payroll and absenteeism administration.

  • Guiding and providing administrative support for recruitment and selection processes.

  • Drafting and maintaining HR reports.

  • Answering and coordinating various HR questions.

Additionally, you will support the business office with:

  • Managing the shared mailbox and calendars.

  • Preparing and organizing meetings.

  • Making clear and accurate minutes.

  • Various secretarial and organizational activities, in close cooperation with our staff secretary.

In short: a broad role in which maintaining an overview is just as important as the details. You see where one subject touches another. Because of this, you are simply indispensable to your colleagues.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, we are looking for a pleasant colleague who knows how to get things done and enjoys collaborating. You see what needs to be done, often before anyone asks. Do you hear something in the hallways that pertains to your work? Then you simply pick it up. You find it pleasant to relieve others of their burdens. Your work is broad and no two days are the same. Yet, you maintain an overview, even when several matters are playing out at once. You quickly make connections and see where a question originates and where it needs to land. You work accurately, handle confidential information with care, and think along about how things can be done smarter. You feel at ease in conversations where thinking along and thinking ahead are taken for granted.

Requirements

With us, you will get an independent and versatile role in a small organization, right in the middle of the dynamic world of hospital care.

  • An employment of 24-28 hours per week.

  • A one-year contract, with the intention to convert this to a permanent employment upon mutual satisfaction.

  • A salary according to the CAO Hospitals, job group 45.

  • A pension scheme via Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW).

  • A MeerKeuzeArbeidsvoorwaarden scheme and possibilities for a discount on your health insurance premium.

  • A committed team with short lines, room for your own initiative, and plenty of variety in your activities.
