Are you a pediatrician who prefers to practice the profession in its full breadth? From the emergency room to the incubator, from the outpatient clinic to the ward? Then you might just become our 15th pediatrician! Whether you have just obtained your registration or already bring several years of experience: you are very welcome.

Which area of focus you have does not matter to us right now. Do you already have one? Great, bring it with you. Do you want to develop another one? Then we will look together at what suits you and the department. Simply because you are given the space to further develop yourself with us.

There are no resident physicians, but there is plenty of room to take the reins yourself! You don't just do the thinking, but also the practical things yourself. That is exactly what makes the work varied and fun.

As a pediatrician at St Jansdal, you practice pediatrics in its full scope. The cornerstones of our practice are general pediatrics, emergency care, and maternity care.

• Clinical care and emergency care take place in Harderwijk. You will see children and their parents at the outpatient clinic in Harderwijk, Lelystad, and possibly Dronten.

• You will participate in all shifts: day, evening, night, weekend, and on-call duties.

• You will build your own area of focus: an existing area that you bring with you or a new area that you develop together with the department.

• You will contribute to the training of medical students and HAIOs (doctors in training for general practice).

• You will contribute to non-patient-related tasks within the department (and possibly the hospital)

• A temporary contract of 7 months with the intention to convert this to a permanent contract upon mutual satisfaction (and unchanged organizational circumstances).

• Salary and employment conditions according to the Medical Specialists' Terms and Conditions (AMS).

• An enthusiastic department with a good mutual atmosphere, humor, and an eye for one another

• Colleagues who know that there is also a life outside the hospital and who collectively ensure a good work-life balance.

• A large hospital that feels small, with short lines, direct and pleasant contact between medical specialists, paramedics, nurses, and other support staff.

St Jansdal is the beating heart of care in the region. Here, you greet each other by name, managers are visible, and you are personally welcomed from day one. You work in the middle of the Veluwe and in Flevoland, with beach, nature, and city nearby. Many colleagues consciously choose to live here as well. Coming home to care, that's what we call it.
