The QC Oral Products Laboratory is part of the Quality Control department and is responsible for the analysis and release of the Oral products produced in Olst. In addition to the Oral Products Laboratory, the Quality Control department also consists of a Sterile products Laboratory, an Incoming goods Laboratory, and a Support group.

As a Chemical Analyst, you will focus on analyzing samples of our oral products. You will perform tasks in accordance with guidelines from our quality system, ensuring that product and process quality meets quality and safety requirements.

• Performing release analyses of oral products; HPLC, dissolution, UV/VIS.
• Timely completion of (equipment) maintenance and qualification activities.
• Keeping the laboratory inventory management up to date.
• Collaborating on investigations/projects within the QC department and, where necessary, seeking consultation with other departments within Abbott Olst.
• Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for improvement plans regarding the activities within QC.

• You have at least a Laboratory education at MBO-4 level (MLO), a chemical direction is a plus;
• Experience with the HPLC analysis technique and dissolution is a plus;
• You preferably have experience within the pharmaceutical industry and are familiar with GMP;
• You are available to work on weekends (on average 1 Saturday every 5 weeks);
• You possess a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• You are available full time (40 hours).
