The role

As a Contract Advisor, do you want to contribute directly to high-quality, sustainable, and affordable housing for students?

What you'll do

As a Contract Advisor, you will purchase and manage SSH's maintenance contracts. This involves contracts for repairs and preventive maintenance, and in some cases, also for planned replacements. You will monitor compliance, quality, and contract duration, manage contractors and suppliers, and independently organize tender and procurement processes for new contracts. Additionally, you will advise colleagues, identify opportunities for improvement, keep contract and property data in order, and report proactively.

You will be involved in, among other things:

  • Independently setting up procurement processes and concluding new maintenance contracts, in accordance with the procurement and tendering policy;
  • Thinking along with and shaping new forms of collaboration with market parties;
  • Advising on contract forms and implementing continuous improvements in our processes and working methods;
  • Monitoring compliance, quality, delivery times, and expiring contracts, including conducting evaluation meetings with suppliers;
  • Being the first point of contact within the organization for questions regarding ongoing contracts;
  • Contributing to keeping the Multi-Year Maintenance Budget (MJOB) up to date and performing policy-related activities.

Who are we looking for?

You are a reliable, critical, and constructive professional who maintains an overview and is not afraid to hold suppliers strictly accountable when necessary. You truly want to contribute to well-maintained, affordable student housing and have the ambition to further develop yourself in procurement and contract management. You enjoy improving processes rather than just executing them.

Hiring process

  1. Apply via the website: Leave your details so that we can process everything properly in accordance with the GDPR.
  2. First telephone check: A short telephone alignment to get acquainted and go over the basics.
  3. First interview at the office: We will sit down to hear who you are, where your qualities lie, and if there is a good click.
  4. Second interview (the deep dive): Time to go into depth regarding the job content and expectations.
  5. Reference check: A short reference check is a standard part of the procedure.
  6. Employment conditions discussion: We will discuss the offer from A to Z before the contract is finalized.
