  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in an agile role, including several assignments in the role of Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Certifications: SAFe RTE, Professional Scrum Master I/II, ICP-ACC (Agile Coaching).
  • Agile transformation: Experience with ownership of agile transformation projects or program components.
  • Skills: Communication at all levels, Empathetic, Open and Transparent, Servant Leader, Solid Coach.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

The role

Are you the engineer who keeps the agile train running smoothly on the right track? As a Release Train Engineer, you ensure that teams collaborate seamlessly and that value streams continue to move without interruption. With your strategic insight and operational approach, you are the driving force behind our clients' agile transformation. Step in and make an impact!

What you'll do

As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you are at the helm of large-scale agile transformations within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You are not just a coach or a leader - you are the glue that connects teams, the catalyst for collaboration, and the engine behind continuous improvement. You ensure that the Agile Release Train (ART) not only stays on the rails but also delivers value at full speed.

With your energy and expertise:

  • You coach the ART.
  • You optimize the Flow.
  • You facilitate PI Planning and inspiring ART events.
  • You bridge the gap between teams, stakeholders, and business.
  • You resolve complex impediments and ensure teams continue to collaborate effortlessly.
  • You manage risks and always keep the bigger picture in sight.

Self-steering teams are great, but even they need a visionary leader to truly move forward. And that is you. With your knowledge of Lean and Agile practices at scale, you make the largest IT challenges manageable and turn obstacles into opportunities.
