Pega Test Engineer

• Experience as a tester in complex application environments
• You can switch between different testing levels and stakeholders
• You feel comfortable in an Agile environment
• You speak Dutch at a minimum of B2 level

• Experience with test automation, for example with Tosca, Selenium, or Cucumber

Experience with Pega is a plus, but not a hard requirement. If you have a good grasp of the fundamentals of testing logic and the motivation to deepen your knowledge, we will help you with that.

As a Pega Test Engineer, you ensure that what we build actually works well. You look beyond a successful test case. You think along about risks, quality, and cohesion. Where could things go wrong? What are we still missing? And how do we make it better before it goes into production?

You will work on Pega applications within complex environments. Together with developers, analysts, and architects, you ensure that testing is not an afterthought, but part of the design from the very beginning.

In this role, you will primarily focus on:

You work hybridly from Nieuwegein, combined with client locations and from home. Within RulesMatter, you work in a multidisciplinary team where quality is not an afterthought, but a natural part of how we work.

You have a sharp eye for quality and do not settle for "it will probably be fine." You ask questions, think ahead, and dare to disagree if something is incorrect. You understand how processes work and know where risks can hide.

• Determining a smart testing approach within Pega projects
• Designing and executing test scenarios at functional and technical levels
• Setting up and improving test automation where it adds value
