The role

SGS is the world leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification and is considered the benchmark for quality and integrity. With an international network of more than 2,500 offices and laboratories and approximately 100,000 employees in over 115 countries, SGS helps organizations manage risks, improve processes, and meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Within the SGS Group, SGS Business Assurance focuses on the certification and auditing of management systems. As an Auditor, you will work with internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 13485 and support organizations in structurally improving their performance. You do not just assess, but also provide valuable insights that allow customers to move forward.

What distinguishes SGS is the combination of independence, expertise, and impact. As an auditor, you will gain a unique behind-the-scenes look at diverse organizations and make a direct contribution to quality, safety, and trust in the market. At the same time, you will work within a dynamic, international organization that is constantly in motion and where innovation is central.

Working at SGS means choosing impact, freedom, and development. You will work independently, visit various customers, and receive a great deal of responsibility in your role. At the same time, you are part of a strong international network of professionals with in-depth knowledge.

SGS actively invests in your growth through training, career advancement opportunities, and a culture in which initiative and improvement are encouraged. In an organization that never stands still, you will help build sustainable quality as well as your own career.

Do you get energy from collaborating with people, do you find it interesting to take a look behind the scenes at various companies, and are you naturally curious? Then we have the perfect challenge for you!

SGS is regularly looking for new colleagues for the audit team that focuses on the ESG sector and will be dealing with ethical audits in the areas of sustainability, environment, social policy, and governance. This means that as a new colleague, you have relevant experience with various standards and schemes in the ESG field. For example, due to the implementation and/or maintenance of such a standard or scheme within your current employer. The field within the ESG work area holds no secrets from you!

As an Auditor at SGS, you choose integrity. Because you assess standards at the client as an independent party, you are second to none at mapping out risks and opportunities. You enjoy helping the client move forward with their business operations and making the organization ready for certification. In addition to carrying out audits and conducting preliminary assessments, you also write reports on your findings.

Do you have experience and knowledge in the ESG field as a (prospective) auditor and do you want to start working at the world's leading company for inspection and certification? Then do not hesitate to respond. Who knows, you might soon become part of our audit team!
