How much technology is in a sweeper? Much more than you might initially think. And did you know that there is only one producer of these machines in the Netherlands? This one is, incidentally, right around your corner. RAVO designs and produces sweeping machines from A to Z and is therefore unique in the Netherlands. We have produced one of the first electric sweeping machines in the world and, with our sweeping vehicles, contributed to the success of Max Verstappen on the Zandvoort circuit. As beautiful as they are when they leave the factory in Alkmaar, they come into your workshop for service and maintenance, screaming for some love and attention. In a small, close-knit team, you will work independently on the maintenance of street sweepers. Every day is different, every service order is another surprise, and that makes your work so fun and varied. From small malfunctions to extensive maintenance or complete overhauls, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. In the fully equipped and tidy workshop, you have everything at hand to be able to perform your work well. We also rely on your knowledge and skill during malfunctions. You ensure that the machines can go back on the road safely and fully inspected.

Why are you a good fit for RAVO? Crazy about cars, having been tinkering in the shed or garage since you were young? How great is it that you can make that your job too! You do not easily lose your cool in hectic situations, and during complex malfunctions, you think carefully before you act. Your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will, of course, come in handy. With a down-to-earth view of the world and your customer focus, you fit perfectly into our team.

What else do we ask for? A technical education in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or mechatronics at level 3 is a perfect basis to be able to manage well as a technician. You have several years of experience as a service technician for complex machines or installations, where you have worked with hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel engines, and computer-controlled systems. If you have knowledge of F-gases, welding, or air conditioning, that is a great bonus.

You enjoy learning and are open to new technologies, such as the electric drives of the latest sweeping machine models. Occasionally assisting your colleague in the field? No problem, you are happy to help your colleagues.
