As Production Team Leader at Encebe, you ensure that people, processes, and quality align every single day. You provide direction on the shop floor, maintain oversight, and, together with your team, make concrete results visible in the areas of safety, food quality, productivity, and costs.
This role is interesting for an experienced leader who wants to be close to the operation. You will receive responsibility, the space to implement improvements, and the opportunity to further develop employees. At the same time, you will work together with colleagues from, among others, HR, QA, the Business Office, Technical Service, and Product Development.
You are responsible for the daily management of your production team. You ensure clear priorities, a safe working environment, and a stable production process. When something can be done better, you don't wait: you discuss it, create a plan, and ensure that the improvement is actually implemented.
You manage employees on a daily basis and ensure appropriate qualitative and quantitative staffing levels.
You translate departmental objectives and KPIs into a concrete implementation plan for your team.
You monitor performance in the areas of health and safety, security, quality, hygiene, productivity, and costs.
You conduct work meetings, performance reviews, and absenteeism discussions, and carefully apply personnel policies.
You coach employees, provide clear feedback, and help them to further develop themselves.
You supervise the correct use of inventory, machines, and equipment and take immediate action in the event of deviations or malfunctions.
You work on process improvements using the VOS method and encourage your team to make continuous improvement part of their daily work.
You actively participate in meetings regarding planning, technical matters, quality, and production.
You safeguard food safety and product quality and address colleagues when agreements are not being followed.
You replace the Plant Manager in their absence.
You are a clear and engaged leader. You know what is required to make a production team perform well and combine result-orientation with attention to people. You remain level-headed, take responsibility, and make decisions when the situation calls for it.
