You work and think at university level, with a background in Supply Chain, (Industrial) Engineering, Process Engineering, Logistics or a related field;
You have approximately 3–7 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement or operational excellence, with a proven track record of improving operational processes;
You are familiar with complex, automated warehouse, fulfilment or production environments and understand how systems, material handling or robotics interact with day-to-day operations;
You have strong quantitative skills: you use data to analyse operational problems, identify root causes and design solutions with measurable impact. You are proficient in Excel;
You can independently take projects from analysis and process design through to implementation and demonstrable results. You work closely with IT and suppliers on requirements, testing and performance improvements;
Experience with SQL, Lean, Six Sigma, Reflex or Geek+ is a plus.
Do you want to make logistical processes smarter in a growing international retail organization? At My Jewellery, you combine data, process design, and automation to improve our physical flow of goods. Your home base is our warehouse, but you look further: from delivery agreements with suppliers and the inbound flow to fulfilment, carriers, and returns. Different order profiles and the interaction between people, systems, and automation make the puzzle challenging. You map out bottlenecks, design solutions, and make visible what they deliver. To do this, you work together with Warehouse Operations, teams at HQ, IT, and external partners.
You analyze the entire physical flow, with the warehouse as the primary focus. You investigate, among other things, inbound, storage, order processing, outbound, carriers, and returns, so that you also include causes outside the warehouse;
You model capacity and different order profiles, perform bottleneck analyses, and use operational data to determine the actual cause of problems;
You design improvements in processes and automation, substantiate choices with scenarios, business cases, and expected returns, and prioritize based on impact and feasibility;
You translate a design together with Operations, IT, and suppliers into clear requirements, test the solution, and guide the implementation in the operation;
You take ownership from problem to result: after implementation, you monitor performance and realized benefits, make adjustments, and secure the improvement in the daily way of working.
