In their own words

About the company & team

You work at RLW Engineering, part of Revisie Loopwerken in Haarlem. Together with 12 colleagues, you prepare the major maintenance of bogies and wheelsets. We do this on a project basis: engineers carry out technical investigations and determine which maintenance is required. As a Production Engineer, you translate this into a production process in which the activities can be carried out well and efficiently.

You are close to daily practice. Approximately 800 bogies and 2,600 wheelsets are maintained at our location annually. With your work, you help ensure that these components are available on time and trains can continue to run.

You work in Haarlem every day. Because of this, the lines are short and you know your colleagues well. You work closely with Engineering and Production. Together you form one team and ensure that the maintenance proceeds smoothly.

At NS, we find diversity and inclusion important; it makes working together more fun and the result becomes even better. What your background or beliefs are does not matter: we are primarily curious about who you are and what you personally bring to the department.

Additional information

  • A background check, including a VOG (Certificate of Conduct), is part of the application procedure. Please also consider the signing of an integrity statement and a non-disclosure agreement.
  • We find it important that everyone who works with us feels at home. You can see this in everything we do, and therefore also in our recruitment policy. Read more here.
