For the Integrated Process Team (IPT) Specialties in Haarlem, we are looking for a Reliability Engineer.
Welcome to our team
From Haarlem, 2,500 different types of medicinal product and vaccine packaging are distributed to more than 140 countries. Haarlem is known as the flexible packaging location in Europe. Our production department consists of multiple Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and Centers of Excellence. The IPT Specialties is responsible for packaging tablets and filled bottles into various final packaging formats and what happens through automated packaging lines.
The "technical" team of IPT Specialties consists of multiple Technicians, Automation Engineers, and Reliability Engineers who ensure that the 12 packaging lines in the department continue to run with the corresponding quality and safety requirements.
About the position
As a Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for the reliability of all installations and equipment under the management of IPT Specialties. You work on structurally solving problems and improving technical performance. You write business cases for improvement projects, define deliverables, and supervise the development and implementation of the proposed improvements on the shop floor. You are also responsible for continuously initiating improvements in the maintenance plan.
Tasks and responsibilities
Your package of tasks includes, among others:
What you'll do
- You analyze the technical performance of IPT Specialties and ensure through technical projects that the packaging lines perform increasingly better and continue to meet current requirements regarding quality and safety.
- You build convincing business cases to obtain the resources required for realizing (improvement) projects and you do not shy away from the discussion in doing so.
- You are familiar with standards, procedures, and guidelines as applicable within our organization and the pharmaceutical industry. You are co-responsible for qualifying and maintaining the qualified state of the entire machine park of IPT Specialties and ensure that periodic reviews are prepared for this purpose.
- You are responsible for drafting and reviewing qualification documents for changes and projects.
- You are responsible for drafting and reviewing the maintenance documentation of IPT Specialties.
