The role

At Merford, we work with a wide assortment of acoustic materials stored in our warehouse. Currently, essential product information, such as dimensions and weights, is still missing from the system. This can lead to inefficiency and errors within inventory management and business processes.

During this internship, you will work on inventorying, checking, and supplementing product data, so that our systems are set up completely, correctly, and reliably. Additionally, you will think along about how we can manage this data well and structurally in the future.

Your activities will include:

What you'll do

Inventorying the current assortment and the stock in the production hall
Checking existing product data in the system
Identifying missing or incorrect data
Accurately entering and supplementing product information
Checking and validating entered data
Thinking along about improvements in the data management process
Drafting practical advice to keep product data structurally up-to-date

By the end of your internship, you will have ensured that the product data of the assortment is recorded completely and correctly and have made it clear where data gaps previously existed. Additionally, you will provide practical advice for future data management.
