What we're looking for

You possess an MBO level 3 working and thinking level;
You have experience as a Workshop Manager or in a similar leadership position;
You are proficient with Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel;
You are motivating, committed, and know how to bring colleagues along in a positive way;
You are not afraid to pitch in yourself when the situation calls for it;
Together with the Bodywork Manager, you ensure that the tools and the workshop remain up-to-date and well-organized.

Languages

You have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You can make yourself well understood in English;

The role

At Louwman Mercedes-Benz Veghel, we are looking for a Workshop Manager Bodywork who is technically strong and possesses good leadership skills. In this role, you are responsible for the daily work in the workshop and ensure that everything runs efficiently, safely, and according to plan.

What you'll do

As Workshop Manager, you are the driving force behind the daily operations in the workshop. You lead the team, monitor the planning, and ensure that everyone can perform optimally. Together with the Bodywork Manager, you ensure an efficient division of labor and a working environment in which quality, collaboration, and results are central.

As Workshop Manager, you are the connecting link within the workshop. Together with the Bodywork Manager, you ensure that daily activities run smoothly and the team can perform optimally. You are responsible for efficient planning and a clear division of labor, so that everyone knows what is expected of them. With your coaching style of leadership, you motivate and guide colleagues in their development and contribute to a pleasant and professional working atmosphere. You closely monitor the progress of the activities, adjust where necessary, and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality. Additionally, you safeguard high quality standards and work continuously on achieving objectives regarding productivity, cost efficiency, invoicing rate, and customer satisfaction. Thanks to your overview, decisiveness, and commitment, the workshop runs at full strength every day.
