Our Mercedes-Benz workshop does not run on chance. It runs on skilled professionals, modern technology, full schedules, and someone who maintains an overview when everything happens at once. That is you. You are the fixed point of contact for your colleagues and the link between mechanics, service advisors, warehouse, and aftersales manager. You keep capacity, quality, and progress in balance. With clear choices, smart solutions, and calm on the floor. Do you see where things can be better, safer, or more efficient? Then you will be given the space to think along and take action. Because a strong workshop does not just run. It keeps moving.

A glimpse of your duties...

• You set the lines in the workshop. You distribute the work, set priorities, and ensure that mechanics are deployed on jobs that match their knowledge, experience, and availability.

• You ensure the team can push forward. With the right information, tools, and technical documentation, you prevent downtime and help mechanics work safely, efficiently, and according to brand regulations.

• Do you see that the planning, parts supply, or customer appointment is coming under pressure? Then you switch quickly with service advisors, warehouse, or aftersales manager. Better to adjust in time than to repair afterwards.

• You keep quality and pace well in balance. You monitor the performed activities, work orders, hour registration, and final inspections, so that repairs are carried out correctly the first time and comebacks are prevented.

• With your energy, authority, and professional knowledge, you take the workshop team along. You coach, motivate, identify development opportunities, and help build a safe, tidy, and high-performing workshop.

• You also roll up your sleeves yourself. You work alongside others where necessary, for example, with complex diagnoses, technical issues, or situations where your experience helps colleagues further.

At the branch in Amsterdam-West, you will work together with 25 committed colleagues. Whomever you approach, you will always find someone with a passion for cars. • A job of 38 hours per week, with a salary that seriously rewards your knowledge and experience and exceeds the collective labor agreement (CAO). Ideally, we welcome you full-time, but we are also happy to discuss 32 or 36 hours.

You...

• Have a completed technical MBO education in the field of automotive technology, preferably First-Class Automotive Technician or Technical Specialist, and extensive experience in an automotive workshop. APK certification or additional brand, diagnostic, or EV training is a plus.

• Know today's technology: maintenance, repair, diagnosis, EV and hybrid technology, and modern vehicle systems. Because of this, you understand what is happening in the workshop and can provide good technical guidance to mechanics.

• Have extensive experience in managing, guiding, and coaching mechanics. You know how planning, capacity, workshop, reception, warehouse, warranty, and customer contact come together and where the opportunities and bottlenecks lie.

• Work accurately and with a focus on quality. You have an eye for safety, quality, hour registration, productivity, progress, and the prevention of comebacks.

• Switch easily with mechanics, service advisors, and warehouse. You communicate clearly, set priorities, make decisions when necessary, and ensure calm and cooperation in the workshop.
