Financial Controller

• At least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a financial field (e.g., Business Economics, Accountancy, Finance & Control), preferably supplemented with an AA or RA title
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, for example as an accountant or in a similar financial role
• Experience with Excel and software such as OneStream or a similar package
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between essential and non-essential matters
• A hands-on mentality and a proactive working attitude
• Good command of the English language and command of the Dutch language

As a Financial Controller, you will work within Aviko's Group Financial Control department. In this role, you will provide reliable financial insights that are essential for both operational and strategic decision-making within the Aviko Group. You will be responsible for reporting, analysis, and month-end closings, and will play an active role in optimizing financial processes and management information. Your location is the head office in Steenderen, where you will work in an international environment with a down-to-earth, pragmatic culture. You will collaborate with colleagues within Group Financial Control, local controllers within the Aviko organization, and with Cosun, Aviko's parent company.

• Preparing periodic, quarterly, and annual reports for the Aviko Group
• Performing financial analyses and translating data into clear management insights
• Ensuring consolidated budgets and interim forecasts
• Preparing and analyzing cash flow and liquidity forecasts
• Optimizing financial reporting and controlling processes
• Ensuring tax compliance, particularly regarding corporate income tax, in an international context
• Preparing the consolidation statement and contributing to the writing of the group annual accounts
• Resolving complex accounting issues
• Contributing to projects, such as the financial processing of acquisitions and ensuring integration into the group reporting.
