Financial Controller

Within our Accounting team, we are looking for a Financial Controller who is responsible for the general ledger administration and plays a crucial role in financial reporting. You will ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions and contribute to a solid financial foundation for our organization.

•  You play a central role in the periodic monthly and year-end closing, where you ensure correct general ledger reconciliations and clear specifications of general ledger accounts;

• You are responsible for accurate and up-to-date fixed asset administration;

• You handle intercompany invoicing and coordinate intercompany reconciliations with foreign entities;

• You collect financial reports from Ebusco’s foreign branches and upload them into the consolidation system;

• You support the Finance department in analyzing and posting financial accruals for the purpose of the monthly and year-end closing;

• You manage the project hours administration for the accountability of WBSO subsidies;

• You act as a back-up for colleagues within the Finance team; together you work as one cohesive and supportive team;

• You actively contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial procedures and working methods.

WHAT YOU BRING...

• You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking;

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience;

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Exact or AFAS;

• Experience with Exact Globe is a plus, but not a requirement;

• Experience with periodic closings is a plus;

• Proactive and solution-oriented;

• You work accurately and are critical of your own work;

• Experience with Excel and financial reporting tools;

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
