Requirements

What we're looking for

HBO or WO student in Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Business Administration, or another relevant field of study
Ambition to become a Chartered Accountant (RA)
You have an affinity with (generative) AI and are motivated to actively apply this technology in your daily work
You are proficient in the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

The role

As a thesis student, you truly become part of our team and receive the freedom to propose your own graduation topic. Naturally, your colleagues are happy to brainstorm with you. You are guaranteed good guidance: you will receive a fixed internship supervisor and a coach who are ready to provide you with feedback and help you towards graduation.

In addition to writing your thesis, you gain practical experience with various clients. You assist with annual account audits and other financial assignments, participate in the execution of, for example, sampling, and get to know the client well by being involved in client meetings. Furthermore, you get to know other KPMGers well through fun activities such as sports tournaments, training days, and drinks.

What you'll do

Combining your graduation research with shadowing audit clients.
Supporting our audit teams with statutory audits.
Checking entries in the annual accounts.
Maintaining a good client relationship.
Mapping client processes and understanding complex organizations.

Good to know: the earliest possible start date for this position is 1 February 2027. The available positions vary per office. Based on availability, we will coordinate together which office best aligns with your preferences, background, and schedule.
