Within the Data Management & Analytics team, you will work on the further development of tomorrow's data organization. You will support both strategic and practical initiatives in the fields of data governance, data quality, change management, and organizational development. In this way, you will help to better manage data within Engine Services, structurally improve its quality, and further stimulate data-driven working. You will work together with various departments and will be given plenty of room to take independent responsibility and make an impact.

Your duties include

• Supporting the implementation of the data strategy and contributing to clear agreements regarding data ownership, management, and use;
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify, document, and manage Critical Data Elements (CDEs), Data Quality Rules (DQRs), and Data Quality Issues (DQIs);
• Supporting the execution of Data Quality Assessments and the formulation of improvement measures;
• Developing management reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide insight into data governance, data quality, and improvement initiatives;
• Facilitating workshops and discussions regarding data ownership, data quality, and the use of data in daily work;
• Modeling and documenting data objects, processes, information flows, and responsibilities;
• Designing, developing, and implementing practical data solutions and automations that support business processes, improve data quality, or make insights more accessible;
• Helping to make data quality issues and improvement initiatives visible and ensuring follow-up;
• Contributing to change processes in which people, processes, data, and technology converge.

Depending on your interests, you will be given the space to further deepen your knowledge in subjects such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Architecture, Process Improvement, Business Intelligence, automation, and AI applications.

You will land at Schiphol-Oost, within Engine Services, the engine maintenance organization of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. You will become part of the Data Management & Analytics team within the Data, Transformation & Continuous Improvement department. This team supports the organization in the transition to data-driven working by bringing structure to data, making responsibilities clear, and improving the quality and reliability of data.

You will work together with colleagues from operations, business, IT, and management and will get the opportunity to actively contribute to organization-wide improvement initiatives.

We are looking for an HBO or WO student with an interest in data, organizational development, and digital transformation.

You are available for 4/5 days per week for a period of 5-6 months. A longer internship period is, of course, a possibility. The start date is mid-January.
