Introduction
Are you looking for a challenging internship where you can make a direct contribution to KLM's financial performance? We are looking for an enthusiastic intern who can turn data into valuable insights and help us find smarter, more efficient and innovative ways to improve our processes.
What are you going to do?
During this internship, you'll work at the intersection of Finance, Data and Business. You'll develop dashboards for both Corporate Finance and KLM's business units, provide data-driven insights, and support financial analyses and process improvements. You'll be a full member of the Real Estate & Facility Contracting (RE&FC) Control team, with the opportunity to make an impact by putting your own ideas into practice.
Where do you land?
KLM's Finance organisation is unique. Where else would you find billions being invested in a new fleet, or millions spent on new maintenance hangars? Whatever ambitions we pursue, they all come with a price tag. Finance provides the information, data and insights needed to support those ambitions, making it essential to KLM's financial success.
You'll be based in the Real Estate & Facility Contracting (RE&FC) department at Schiphol-East. RE&FC is responsible for real estate, as well as facility services and products, across the KLM Group. Its approximately 700,000 m² of property ranges from specialised industrial buildings-such as hangars, engine shops and warehouses-to offices and lounges at Schiphol. The department also manages facility contracts across the KLM Group, covering services such as staff restaurants, cleaning and uniforms. You'll gain insight into the wider KLM organisation and experience the variety of its operations.
