The world is at your feet as an order to cash or purchase to pay intern at KLM. Not only will you work on challenging financial processes that are essential to the global operations of Air France and KLM, but you will also find yourself in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration are central. You will have close contact with the various clusters within FAS-NL, where contact with the different business units is important to achieve the goal. You will also support various projects that can range from bringing structure to the process, making efficiency gains, and providing support during the implementation of a new system.

Additionally:

• You will participate in the PTP process, where you can analyze where you can achieve efficiency throughout the entire process;
• You will participate in the OTC process, where together with the business you can bring more structure to the process and the documentation (process flows);
• You will ensure that the balance sheet specifications are processed timely and correctly for both PTP and OTC balance accounts;
• You support projects that are active at that time.

You will join the FAS NL department: Finance Accounting Services Netherlands. From building 102 at Schiphol-Oost, about 60 colleagues and I oversee the entire accounting process of KLM as well as parts of Air France-KLM. The atmosphere in the department is informal - count on low thresholds, little hierarchy, and a lot of collegiality. You will be part of the OTC team or the PTP team, where you will have approximately 16 direct colleagues.

You will deal with various business controllers, analysts, and processes. Yet, you will maintain an overview of this. Fortunately, everyone around you can count on your accuracy and numerical insight.

Furthermore:

• Are you pursuing an HBO or WO degree in a financial direction, such as Business Administration or SPD Business Administration;
• Do you have knowledge of Lean and streamlining processes;
• Do you speak and write Dutch and English;
• Are you available for 4 to 5 days per week, preferably from February 2027 for 6 months (a later start is negotiable).
