Are you technical, creative, and do you have an eye for detail? Come work as a Cabin Maintenance Mechanic in the Cabin
Shop of Airframe in H14! Here, you will work in a small, independent team on specialized maintenance and repairs of cabin components. No two days are the same, and you will have plenty of room to develop yourself.
In the Cabin Shop, you will perform a variety of tasks, such as repairing and modifying luggage bins, toilets, and seat cushions. You will also upholster sidewall panels and manufacture new interior components according to strict guidelines. For these tasks, you will use various machines, including a multifunctional cutting machine. After repair, the components are certified and returned to the aircraft or the warehouse. You will consult regularly with colleagues from different departments and actively contribute ideas for improvements.
You will join a small, self-managing team within Airframe in H14. You will work closely with colleagues from, among others, Base Maintenance H14, Engineering, Planning, MEF, and other departments. You will report directly to the Team Leader Operations of H14. Together, you will ensure cabin components of the highest quality and a smoothly running maintenance and manufacturing process.
Then don't wait any longer, and apply for the 'final boarding call' on 13-11-2026!
You do not need to write a motivation letter; during your online application, we will ask you several targeted questions. Your application procedure consists of two interviews and possibly an assessment, capacity test, and a security screening.
Candidates who are positively selected for the first interview will receive an email in which they can choose a suitable time slot for the interview themselves. This keeps the process fast and clear, and gives you control over your schedule. You will hear from us within two weeks after the vacancy closes.
You can log in at any time via your personal candidate profile. Here you will find the vacancy you applied for - even after it has closed - as well as a clear dashboard with any other ongoing applications within KLM, including status updates. Do you have the drive to grow further in this role? Then we look forward to your application.
Did you know that according to research, women are less likely to apply than men if they do not meet all the job requirements? A shame. Because as far as we are concerned, 'the perfect candidate' is a myth. So, do you have the drive to still grow in some aspects of this role? We look forward to your application.
A reference check may be part of the application procedure.
If you want to know more about the position, please contact the hiring manager. Call or email the recruiter for questions about the application procedure.
