With your analyses and advice, you solve operational problems, even before they arise. You are the data conscience of the organization: you challenge assumptions, identify hidden patterns, and help the organization steer more sharply on performance. As a senior Consultant Operations Analytics, you lead complex analytics initiatives and advise senior management to realize performance improvements. You work together with your consultant colleagues and stakeholders from across the entire company to safeguard the integrated picture. You identify bottlenecks and seek solutions that move the organization forward. You do this objectively, but with the interests of the various stakeholders in mind.

You:

• Performs complex analyses on large datasets to identify patterns and dependencies that others do not see
• Combines data sources to generate new insights
• Develops frameworks for performance management and data-driven decision-making
• You connect analytics with strategy: you translate complex data into insights and scenarios that help determine what we as an organization are steering towards and which choices we make.
• Acts as a sparring partner for senior management in interpreting operational data
• Knows how to bring stakeholders along and convince them so that analyses lead to concrete actions with measurable impact
• Advises on priorities within the analytics team and acts as a coordinator and coach
• Ensures that we can better predict operational performance so that we can act proactively

In short: you help KLM make strategic choices by translating complex data into guiding insights, scenarios, and advice.

You will become part of Operations Decision Support (ODS), one of the most innovative departments within KLM. Here, experts in the fields of data, operations, and strategy work together to improve the daily operation for 17,000+ colleagues who keep KLM running: from network planning and crew scheduling to fuelling, maintenance, and ground operations.

You work alternatively at Schiphol Oost, at home, or another location of your choice. You report to the Lead Operations Analytics and work together with teams throughout the entire operation.

You get the chance to solve complex issues and contribute directly to the strategic performance of KLM's operation.
