Additionally:
• You work on a large C++ (MFC) codebase with complex business logic

Are you an experienced Developer who gets energy from complex software issues and also enjoys working at the intersection of legacy and modern technology? Do you find it interesting to make an impact within healthcare with software used daily by thousands of users? Then this might be your next step.
For Vertimart, we are looking for a Senior C++(MFC)/.NET Developer who will work together with the development team on Exquise Classic: a mission-critical practice management application for dental practices in the Netherlands and beyond. Within this role, you will work on a large and technically challenging C++/MFC codebase, while simultaneously helping to build the modernization towards modern .NET technologies such as C# and WPF. You will join an environment where technical depth, collaboration, and ownership are central.
You are a developer who is not intimidated by complex systems and instead gets energy from technical depth. You find it interesting to truly understand existing software while simultaneously helping to build modernization and innovation.
Additionally:
• Strong analytically
• Accurate and quality-oriented
• Eager to learn
• Communicatively skilled
• Independent and a team player
• Able to explain complex subject matter understandably
The application procedure consists of several interviews. In the first round, you will meet Chenara Vischer by telephone. After that, you will meet the manager and/or direct colleagues from the development team. This is followed by an in-depth technical interview in which we go deeper into your experience with C++, .NET, and software development within complex environments.
Additionally, we may invite you to shadow us for half a day so that both you and we get a good impression of the collaboration, the codebase, and the technical environment. For this position, we require a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
Vertimart has been developing software solutions for the dental sector for over 40 years. With Exquise, we support thousands of healthcare professionals daily with patient records, planning, billing, and practice management. We believe in collaborating, sharing knowledge, and building sustainable software solutions that make a real impact within healthcare.
