Are you the architect who enjoys constantly delving into new challenges for the products/services, processes, and the IT landscape of our company? And do you want to concretize ideas into proposals that can be implemented? Then we have a very exciting challenge for you!
You are a professional who bridges the gap between strategy and execution from the perspective of business architecture. You do this by providing analysis, substantiation, and structure to changes in the process and IT landscape, leading to future-oriented and robust results while involving both the business and IT. As a Business Architect, you work on various assignments simultaneously and, together with other architects, bring the enterprise architecture to a higher level.
You work closely with the business owner(s), product managers, and business analysts.
You analyze the business strategy and business developments and support the business with concrete proposals for improvements and changes in our services, processes, and IT landscape. In doing so, you ensure that product and design choices align with the corporate strategy.
Together with fellow architects (business, software, infra, security architects), we cover all layers of the enterprise architecture. By working together on deliverables, we give shape to the target architecture with a roadmap.
In the discovery phase, you conduct research into possibilities for new products or services together with business development.
Based on a portfolio request, you perform an architecture advisory so that a portfolio decision can be made with more substantiation and in line with the corporate strategy.
For projects, you develop a Project Start Architecture, if possible together with fellow architects, and you monitor its execution by guiding the business analysts and solution architects.
You think along regarding the possibilities during a merger & acquisition process and you help with onboarding new organizational components into the enterprise architecture.
You proactively identify technological trends and bring knowledge from the outside world in, which you translate into ideas, vision, policy, and guidelines.
You identify risks and threats and propose solutions for them.
You provide requested and unsolicited advice based on your expertise as a business architect to, among others, business owners, product owners, business analysts, and management.
Who are you and what do you bring to the table?
You love translating an idea into a concrete proposal or product, and in doing so, you reduce complexity to workable solutions and (quantitative) substantiations.
You can master a new knowledge domain in a short period of time.
You are good at visualization: you create visual aids and presentations that are easy to follow and stick with others.
You have good communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
You are familiar with reference models such as BPMN2.0, frameworks, and tools for enterprise architecture.
You have the ability to develop long-term vision into achievable goals and concrete solution directions, involving people in your story.

MSPS Groep B.V. stands for Medical Software & Processing Services. The group consists of various companies that work together to make healthcare more efficient and more human. We specialize in services such as factoring and clearing of healthcare claims (including Infomedics and Clearing House Apothekers, which together collect about €6.5 billion annually from insurers and healthcare consumers on behalf of healthcare providers) and practice software for dental care (Vertimart and GSN). Every day, thousands of healthcare providers in dental care, paramedicine, pharmacy, specialist care, mental healthcare, and medical aids benefit from the dedication and solution-oriented approach of our more than 400 MSPS colleagues, allowing them more time for their patients. We offer a financially strong and stable working environment, with plenty of opportunities for our employees to grow. You will work in an open and trusted environment where collaboration and development are central.
You are part of the Architecture department of the MSPS Shared Service Center. This team ensures coherence in the MSPS-wide architecture and supports all MSPS companies with expertise in the fields of Architecture, UX, and Lean Process Management. Together with other architects from the companies, you form the MSPS Architecture Committee, which provides insight into the enterprise architecture.
