Business Process Architect

For this role, we are looking for someone with a solid foundation in IT and business processes. You certainly do not need to know everything about hyperautomation yet, but you do have experience with architectural issues and process thinking. Many of our architects, for example, have a background in IT architecture, BPM, or integration platforms. Experience with frameworks such as TOGAF or Archimate can help, as can knowledge of BPMN, microservices, or API-driven architectures. Experience with platforms such as Pega Platform or Blueriq can also align well with this role.

As an architect, you naturally take responsibility and help determine direction within projects. You work with various stakeholders, both at the client and within our team, and know how to connect interests well. You think ahead, ask critical questions, and help organizations make better choices in their digital architecture. At the same time, you also like to stay close to practice and enjoy actually realizing solutions together with teams. In addition to possessing relevant work experience, you recognize yourself in the following points:

• A HBO bachelor's or master's degree. An education with a focus on Business, IT, or technology is a plus

• Extensive experience in the field of IT architecture, both functional and technical

• Experience with TOGAF, Archimate, or similar certifications / training

• Experience with process, BPM, or integration software such as Blueriq or Pega. Experience with Camunda is a plus

• Curious about AI and the deployment of agents within intelligent systems

• Knowledge of - or curiosity about - the following techniques: BPMN/DMN, Microservices, Java or Python, APIs, Databases, Docker and Kubernetes, DevOps is a plus

• Knowledge and experience with Integration, Apps, RPA, Lean is a plus

First and foremost, we naturally offer you a salary between 4000 euros and 6000 euros gross (excl. holiday allowance) depending on your experience. As a Business Process Architect, you help organizations redesign and automate their business processes using modern technology. In this, Camunda plays an important role as a platform for process orchestration. At the same time, you always look broader than just a single technology. In our solutions, we combine process orchestration with integrations, applications, and automation. For example, we work with technologies such as UiPath for RPA, Workato for integrations, and the Thinkwise Platform for application development.

In your role, you move continuously between business and technology. You analyze complex customer issues, map their processes, and translate these into a future-proof architecture. In doing so, you design solutions that not only work today but are also scalable for the future. Enterprise architecture and process architecture play an important role in this. You think about how systems work together, how processes are orchestrated, and how automation can be deployed optimally.

Additionally, you play a role in the integration of AI within business processes. You design process flows in which AI decisions are included, orchestrate AI agents within structured workflows, and integrate external AI services into existing chains. You investigate how intelligent agents can perform certain tasks (partially) autonomously, while maintaining direction and control within the process.
