The role

How do we encourage customers to order more often, purchase more, and remain loyal to us for the long term? During this graduation internship, you will tackle a challenging strategic and commercial question: how can we smartly use tiered discounts to strengthen customer loyalty AND achieve commercial growth?

You will dive into our data, discover commercial opportunities, and translate your insights into concrete advice. Your responsibilities will include:

What you'll do

Analyzing current tiered discounts: which discount structures do we use and how are they constructed?
Gaining insight into customer behavior: what is the effect of tiered discounts on order frequency, order size, and customer loyalty?
Investigating revenue and margin: which discounts actually deliver commercial growth and what do they mean for our return?
Identifying commercial opportunities: where can we encourage customers to order more often or purchase larger volumes?
Segmenting customers: which discount strategy best fits the needs and behavior of different customer groups?
Developing concrete advice: how can we optimize our tiered discounts, both at a total level and per customer segment?

Requirements

You are pursuing a HBO or WO degree in a commercial field
You love analyzing and working with numbers
You are looking for a graduation internship of at least 4 months
You have an affinity with sales, customer-oriented work, and/or process improvement
You work independently and show initiative
You are communicatively skilled and know how to convey your ideas clearly
Good command of the Dutch language is required; English is a plus
