Senior Manager Project & Proces Excellence

• At least 10 years of Project Management experience, preferably including SAP implementations through the application of methodologies such as: Prince2, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, or PMP

• Experience with setting up project portfolio management and structuring improvement processes; 6Sigma and Lean certification is a plus

• You are available full-time

• Excellent command of Dutch and English; German is a plus

• Management experience in directing and developing teams

• You have extensive experience with change management

• You know what is required to make projects successful, at both operational and strategic levels

• You are result-oriented and have a sharp eye for optimizing processes

As Senior Manager Project & Proces Excellence, you are responsible for leading our team of Project Managers and Process Engineers. Your team plays a crucial role in improving our processes and ensuring the consistency and quality of project execution within the organization. You will develop a clear vision for 'improving processes', 'realizing projects', and 'improving together'.

Management tasks:

• Directing teams and ensuring the necessary competencies within the team

• Collaborating with various departments to ensure that project goals and process improvements are achieved

• Creating support within Heuschen & Schrouff for projects and improvements

Project Portfolio Management:

• Setting up and executing Project Portfolio Management for all H&S projects

• Prioritizing projects based on impact, urgency, and the strategic goals of the company together with the Portfolio Governance Board (= Management)

• Monitoring project progress and intervening in ongoing projects if necessary

• Defining project management methodologies and standards

Project Management:

• Acting as Senior Project Manager on strategic projects

• Leading and coaching the PMO Project Managers

• Adjusting projects where necessary to get back on track

Process Engineering:

• Developing and implementing a long-term vision for 'improving processes' and 'improving together'

• Leading and coaching the PMO Process Engineers

The projects within our company are very diverse. Currently, we are working on, among other things, doubling the storage capacity of our warehouses, improving the lead time of our products (from purchase to being saleable on the market), building a Control Tower for our incoming goods, and harmonizing, optimizing, and digitalizing all our processes. Additionally, we are growing as a company and regularly opening new locations. It is important that business processes are integrated, with the Engineering Team acting as a driving force.
