What you'll get
In addition to a lot of fun and occasionally tasting a delicious beer with your colleagues, you can also count on us for:
A challenging assignment with good guidance and sufficient space for your own school assignments;
With us, you will find an open culture in an informal working environment, where core values such as curiosity, collaboration, and celebrating successes together are paramount;
Naturally, we also offer a good internship allowance.
The role
Are you crazy about numbers and do you want to discover how data makes the difference on the shelf at major retailers? Then this internship in Category Management Retail is for you!
As a Category Management Retail Intern, you will help supermarkets such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and Plus to organize the beer and soft drink shelf more intelligently. You will analyze what sells well, discover opportunities in the data, and translate this into concrete improvements on the shelf, so that our products are more visible and sold more often.
You will work within the Trade Marketing team, where we follow developments in the beer and special soda categories and translate them into advice for retailers. The consumer is central to this: what does someone buy, why, and how can we respond to that more effectively?
What you'll do
You dive into data and discover trends in the beer and soft drink category (e.g., using Circana and SIS).
You analyze what is happening on the shelf and what could be improved.
You investigate what changes when supermarkets adjust their assortment (e.g., at Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and Plus).
You help in analyzing promotions (what works and what does not?).
You translate figures into clear insights and advice for the team.
