Help build the 'Swimming Pool of the Future' and work on complex projects in swimming pool automation. You will help build smart, future-oriented solutions and play an important role in the further development of Smart Building and Smart Pool.

This is what you will do
You are responsible for the work preparation of projects in the execution phase. This specifically concerns swimming pool automation projects. You do this by organizing all necessary matters, such as calculations, drawing checks, and the procurement of equipment and materials. You are the technical point of contact for project management, engineers, and assembly, with whom you consult regularly to monitor progress. You also coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors and are actively involved in project evaluation.

During the project, you will continuously keep a finger on the pulse. You monitor material budgets, delivery times, and work preparation hours, and you work out extra and reduced works (including calculations). Additionally, you translate process and control concepts into hardware solutions and control architectures. You also have an advisory role towards project management.

Within Hellebrekers, we are working on the transition from ETO (Engineer-to-Order) to CTO (Configure-to-Order). Work preparation plays an important role in this, and as a work preparer, so do you. You actively participate in setting up a CTO project organization and contribute to standardization, smart control concepts, and data and energy optimization within swimming pools. Thus, you have an important role in the development of Smart Pool/Smart Building solutions.

Your duties further consist of:

• You develop designs from project engineering to the execution level.

• You check diagrams, working drawings, and technical specifications and prepare the required documents for permit applications.

• You assess and compare quotes from suppliers and request adjusted quotes if necessary. In occurring cases, you prepare quotes yourself, for example, for extra works and smaller projects.

• You check invoices and project costs.

• You support commissioning and optimizations.

• You guide and coach junior work preparers.

This is what you bring
You are communicatively and analytically strong, have a great sense of responsibility, and know how to maintain an overview at all times. You can think conceptually, work in a structured manner, and think future-oriented. Furthermore, we ask for:

• At least an mbo diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar;

• HBO working and thinking level (obtained through education or experience);

• At least 4 years of experience in building, swimming pool, or industrial automation;

• Demonstrable knowledge of measurement and control technology and process installations (preferably swimming pool processes);

• Experience with building management systems.
