At Hedin Automotive Volvo, we work according to Volvo Personal Service (VPS). Simply put: fewer links, short lines, and working together to ensure the car hits the road correctly the first time. As a service advisor (within VPS, the Workshop Support or WS), you are close to the workshop. You are not just a middleman, but the coordinator who maintains an overview, thinks ahead, and ensures that parts, information, and administration are correct. This allows the auto mechanics to push forward and keeps the workshop running smoothly.

• You are the coordinator behind the scenes. You support the auto mechanics (the Personal Service Technicians or PST) so that they can push forward and so that appointments, work orders, and administration are tightly organized.

• Parts needed? You ensure they are ordered, planned, and prepared on time. This way, you prevent downtime in the workshop and help contribute to a smooth workday.

• Together with colleagues from the workshop, you keep the momentum going. Is something difficult to find or not immediately clear? Then you dive into the systems and arrange for the right information to come to light.

• Warranty, goodwill, or lease? You know which steps are necessary, record everything neatly, and help the PST to complete files correctly and completely.

• Thanks to your overview, accuracy, and organizational power, the workshop process runs smarter. This allows your colleagues to do what they are good at and ensures the customer can hit the road again with confidence.

• Have work experience as a service advisor, workshop planning employee, or in another role in which you have learned to work in a service-oriented, accurate, and structured manner.

• Understand the basics of car maintenance, repair, and parts, or are curious enough to learn this quickly.

• Maintain an overview, think ahead, and like to ensure that everything is ready before the work in the workshop begins.

• Work easily with systems and administration. Whether it concerns work orders, parts, warranty, goodwill, or lease: you record matters neatly and completely.

• Communicate quickly with colleagues in the workshop, like to help solve problems, and think along about how things can be smarter, faster, or better.
