Hospitality, overview, and pace come together in this role. As a car rental agent at MABI Mobility (part of Hedin Automotive) in Nieuwegein, you are the familiar face at the branch and the one who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You keep reservations strictly in order, assist customers with attention, and ensure every car is ready at the right moment. In doing so, you are the one who ensures a smooth rental experience and a branch that runs like a well-oiled machine.

A glimpse of your duties...

• From the first inquiry to the handover of the keys: you manage the entire rental process. You process reservations via the counter, telephone, and online systems and ensure that planning and availability are always in order.

• Customers can count on you. You welcome them hospitably, listen to their wishes, and advise on rental cars, minibuses, and commercial vehicles—including rates, insurance, and extra options.

• During the issuance and return of vehicles, you are sharp and careful. You inspect the cars, register everything neatly, and ensure that agreements are correctly recorded according to the proper procedures.

• You prepare rental agreements and invoices without errors and explain them clearly. You handle payments smoothly and professionally, so customers know exactly where they stand.

• In addition to contact with customers, you ensure that the fleet looks well-maintained and representative. You support pick-up and delivery assignments, thereby contributing to a reliable, professional appearance of the branch.

• Have experience in a customer- or guest-oriented role and feel completely at home in direct contact with customers.

• Recognize and understand the basics of cars, commercial vehicles, and minibuses—from models to functionalities—so that you can advise customers well.

• Think commercially and actively seize opportunities to offer extra products or services that add value for the customer.

• Communicate clearly, correctly, and enthusiastically, both at the counter, over the phone, and via email.

• Work accurately and maintain an overview, ensuring that reservations, contracts, and administrative tasks are handled without errors.
