Allround Maintenance Technician Day Shift (all genders) in the Netherlands

Employment conditions

• A salary between € 4,000 and € 4,900 gross per month (full-time, including 10% AMT allowance), depending on your experience and suitability for the role.
• A 36-hour work week, a 5% year-end bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme.
• A travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer, with a maximum of 30 kilometers one way. Do you live further away? Then we would like to discuss the possibilities.
• 200 hours of leave per year, with the possibility to buy or sell up to 40 extra hours.

• You have completed training in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• You have (some) experience with or knowledge of electrical engineering.
• You love the dynamics of a complex factory.
• You are willing to work on-call shifts and therefore live within a maximum travel distance of 45 minutes from our factory.

At 07:00 AM, you start with full energy as a technician in the Technical Service department. You ensure that breakdowns are prevented as much as possible and that, should they occur, you resolve them quickly and skillfully. You carry out inspections and perform maintenance and repairs on various installations, such as pasteurizers, production lines, robots, and packaging machines. No two days are the same!

What else you will be doing:

• Performing preventive maintenance and overhaul work;
• Detecting, analyzing, and resolving breakdowns;
• Working with electrical engineering, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and refrigeration technology;
• Minimizing downtime and ensuring safe production;
• Thinking along about and implementing technical improvements;
• Accurately registering activities in maintenance systems.

As a technician, you will work in a team of 15 technicians, supplemented by external colleagues with various expertise. The total Technical Service department consists of 30 colleagues. Together, you ensure that the factory continues to run optimally 24/7.

Lochem is one of our larger production locations. Nearly 200 colleagues work there with passion and craftsmanship across three factories, with kilometers of gleaming steel. At this location, 10% of all milk and 55% of all cream from FrieslandCampina is processed. Every day, an enthusiastic team works on approximately 100 different end products: from protein-rich products for the medical industry to butter and milk powder for croissants and ice cream.
