Export Officer (all genders) in the Netherlands

• MBO+/HBO (vocational/higher professional) working and thinking level;
• Demonstrable and extensive experience with SAP/GTS and MS Office;
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an export environment within an international and dynamic environment;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

Employment conditions

• Salary between €3655.18 and €4493.60 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and suitability for the role;
• A 36-hour work week, 5% end-of-year bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme;
• 200 hours of leave per year, with the possibility to buy or sell up to 40 extra hours;

• As an Export Officer, you are responsible for the correct processing of orders up to the final destination;
• Creates and completes (export) documentation and delivers this to internal and external stakeholders;
• Prepares all data in the relevant systems;
• You maintain close contact with shipping companies, book containers, and take available vessels into account;
• Also books various other transports and takes the feasibility of the schedule into account;
• Checks the release of products, so that they can be loaded on time;
• Ensures that the correct documents accompany the carriers and are sent towards our customers;
• Identifying and proactively addressing process and/or system improvements;
• Respects and follows the FrieslandCampina procedures and work instructions;
• Additionally, you function as an independent point of contact for internal and external contacts within FrieslandCampina Professional.

The Export Officer is part of the Logistics team in Meppel. You report to the Manager Export Logistics. The team in Meppel consists of 15 Export Officers, Documentation Officers, Key-users, and a Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Within the Business Group Professional, for the Meppel location, we are looking for an Export Officer. The Export Officer is part of the Logistics team in Meppel.
The Export Officer ensures that orders are processed correctly and that the required legal documents are prepared so that the goods arrive at the final destination in the correct manner.
