Logistics Team Leader (all genders) in the Netherlands

As Logistics Team Leader, you are the connecting link between operations and supporting departments. The department focuses on transporting finished products to the refrigerated warehouse in Heerenveen, loading bulk trucks, and receiving and processing packaging materials, raw materials, and auxiliary materials.

Your team carries out these activities, while you provide structure, priority, and clear direction from a coordinating role. You contribute personally when necessary, but can also rise above the daily operations to maintain an overview, guide employees, and get the team into the right flow.

• Ordering packaging materials and auxiliary materials;
• Inventory management in the operational warehouses;
• Acting as the first point of contact for production and the business office;
• Participation in projects that impact the department, such as process improvements and developments in raw and auxiliary materials;
• The management of internal transport equipment.

A major SAP & EWM project started within the factory on October 5th. This brings a new way of working for logistics, including adjusted scanning and administrative processes. You play a key role in embracing the new way of working and guiding your team toward this new method of working.

• This position is scaled in Zuivel CAO 7 (€3655.18 to €4493.60 based on 36 hours), your salary will be based on your experience and education;

About Noordwijk
Our location in Noordwijk (Groningen) is a dynamic and versatile production site where craftsmanship and innovation come together. The heart of the factory is formed by the centrifuge room, where cream and liquid raw materials are carefully received and processed. Our products then receive their final form in the packaging departments. We produce no fewer than 140 different products: from bulk flows such as tank trucks, IBCs, and drums to high-quality end products in the form of bars, boxes, and sheets. Our products find their way to diverse customers, from industrial applications to bakeries, chocolate makers, ice cream producers, and IFT. The factory operates 24/7 with a dedicated team of approximately 95 FTE, where efficient and reliable process management is essential. Noordwijk plays a key role within FrieslandCampina. As one of the two factories in the butter and cream processing network and THE European expertise center for butter fractions, we make an indispensable contribution to the organization.

In Noordwijk (Groningen), we are looking for a Logistics Team Leader. In this day shift position, you will lead a team of 8 employees working in a combination of 2- and 5-shift rotations. You are responsible for both the daily management and the logistics process, with a focus on structuring, streamlining, and continuously improving work processes and collaboration.
