Operator Processing (all genders) in the Netherlands

• Salary between € 4,005.06 and € 5,111.99 gross per month including shift allowance (28.7%), depending on experience and suitability for the role;
• Average of 33 hours per week, with a full-time salary;
• A 5-shift roster where you have four days off after six shifts;

What we Ask

As an Operator Processing, you will contribute to the production of condensed milk sold worldwide. Most of the process is automated, but it is precisely when something deviates that you make the difference. You monitor the process, perform checks, and intervene when necessary. Think of adjusting process settings, checking product weights, and identifying deviations. At those moments, your technical insight comes in handy.

Collaboration is central. You work daily with colleagues who support each other and share knowledge. You don't just resolve malfunctions, but also actively think along about how processes can be organized more smartly, safely, and efficiently. No two days are the same. You work at various workstations within the department and learn more and more about the process. In addition, you get plenty of room to further develop yourself through practical experience, guidance, and training such as our internal L'EVAP course.

The Processing department forms the beating heart of our location. In Leeuwarden, we process approximately 600 million liters of milk annually into high-quality condensed milk products, better known as "coffee milk." With over 1.2 billion cans per year, we are among the largest production locations of FrieslandCampina. Our brands, such as Peak, Rainbow, Black & White, and NoyNoy, are sold in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

At our production location in Leeuwarden, we work with more than 700 colleagues from various backgrounds in different disciplines. Every day we are engaged in producing high-quality condensed milk products. Our market share of all consumed condensed milk products worldwide is 10 percent. To realize this, more than 700 million liters of milk flow through our pipes and our high-tech installations every year. But it doesn't stop there, because we also take care of the entire processing and packaging process. For example, in the 'Bussenfabriek' (Can Factory), we make the packaging material (the cans) in which the products are packed. Once these cans are filled, closed, and labeled, they are packed into boxes and stored on pallets in the warehouse. • Monitoring, checking, and adjusting automated production processes;
• Starting up, setting up, and converting installations;
• Performing process and quality controls;
• Checking product specifications, such as viscosity, weight, and product quality;
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving deviations and malfunctions;
• Performing checks on packaging quality;
• Ensuring the correct supply and removal of raw materials and auxiliary materials;
• Performing inspection rounds and line checks;
• Contributing to process improvements and optimizations;
• Complying with and promoting safety and quality regulations.
