As a technician, you will make an important contribution there. Technology forms the backbone of every yacht and you see it everywhere. You encounter technology at the design office, the production companies, and the finishing yards. Without technology, there is no superyacht.

As an Ironwork Foreman, you will guide the construction of the ship. You manage the ironwork in sections and/or during assembly. There is a lot of metal in a superyacht. At the Ironwork department, the construction process begins with the assembly of small parts; these form sections (blocks up to a maximum of 100 tons). These sections make up the complete hull. Ranging from 60 to 100 meters plus. Will you come to work on solid yachts?

• Together with your colleagues from the Ironwork department (approximately 85 people), (supervise the) building of a steel hull;
• Organizing and (supervising the) execution of production activities on board or on location;
• Monitoring capacity planning, distributing tasks and explaining them during daily starts, including timely reporting of deviations;
• Checking performed work for quality, compliance with safety regulations, and order in the workplace;
• Time registration, monitoring progress, coaching/motivating employees, and handling leave and sickness.

• At least an MBO 4 working and thinking level through education and/or experience;
• Completed technical, practical education, in the direction of Shipbuilding;
• A healthy work mentality: you enjoy coming to work, but you also find your work-life balance important;
• In possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate;
• At least 5 years of work experience in the field;
• At least 2 years of work experience as a (deputy) supervisor in the field.

Your skills

• A salary between € 3500,- and € 4700,- (scale H). Salary and scale based on experience and knowledge;
• Stability: Annual contract and subsequent permanent employment (upon a positive assessment). We have a well-filled order book, allowing us to keep our people continuously working;
