What you really need:

A HBO or WO background that fits this role, for example in AI, Data Science, IT, Business IT, or technical business administration. For us, what matters most is that you can translate technology into applications that truly work within an organization.
A few years of experience with digital transformation, product, delivery, or program management.
Experience with implementing new technology and guiding change and adoption.
Experience with external suppliers, partners, and various stakeholders within an organization.

Knowledge of AI concepts such as large language models, RAG, and prompt engineering is a great addition. The same applies to experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure AI, or a technically complex project environment.
You listen well, understand different interests, and bring people along in change.
You work independently, take initiative, and translate complex subjects into clear and achievable steps.
You switch easily between strategy, technology, and daily practice.
You combine energy and curiosity with structure, result-orientation, and organizational sensitivity.
You are fluent in the Dutch and English languages.

The role

Within De Vries Groep, an authentically Dutch Feadship company, various companies and disciplines work together on the construction of fully custom-made superyachts. Behind every yacht stands an organization where craftsmanship, technology, and innovation come together.

As AI Transformation Lead, you will shape the way we deploy artificial intelligence within the companies of De Vries Groep. You will develop the AI roadmap, discover the greatest opportunities together with colleagues, and bring applications from idea to pilot, implementation, and further growth. In doing so, you will not only look at what is technically possible, but especially at what actually helps people and processes move forward.

You will be given plenty of room to provide direction, take initiative, and build something new. The AI program is in full development. This is your chance to turn it into a recognizable and valuable movement together with colleagues, business owners, and external partners.

What you'll do

You develop and manage the AI roadmap and the associated portfolio.
You discover and prioritize promising AI applications within various operating companies and disciplines.
You translate ideas into clear requirements, data needs, integrations, and acceptance criteria.
You guide pilots and implementations and maintain control over planning, backlog, testing, releases, and aftercare.
You connect business, ICT, and external AI partners and ensure clear agreements and progress.
You stimulate adoption, knowledge sharing, and safe use, and make results and added value transparent.

the expected salary is between € 3,700 and € 7,000 gross per month on a full-time basis. We determine the final grading based on objective criteria. In doing so, we look at relevant work experience, professional expertise, education level, and alignment with the job profile.
