Lasrobot Operator

• A basic training in MIG/MAG welding (at least level 1);
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding work;
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
• Proficiency in the Dutch or English language;
• Technical insight and a practical attitude;
• An eye for quality and attention to safety;

• Preferably a diploma or experience at level 2;
• Experience with an overhead crane is a plus, but not a requirement.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2,700 and € 3,300, depending on your experience.
• Do you work in a 2-shift system? Then you receive a 20% shift allowance and can expect a salary between € 3,240 and € 3,900 gross per month based on 40 hours per week.

• 38 vacation days per year (based on a 40-hour work week);
• Working hours from 5:45 AM to 2:30 PM in the morning shift and from 2:30 PM to 12:15 AM in the afternoon shift, except on Friday when you work from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM;

The role

As a Lasrobot Operator, you are responsible for finishing truck chassis that are largely welded by a welding robot. You combine operating the welding robot with manual MIG/MAG welding and checking the quality of the final product.

During the process, the robot completes the welding of a chassis entirely. Subsequently, you perform the following tasks:

• Checking the welds applied by the robot;
• Performing additional MIG/MAG welding work where necessary;
• Attaching extra parts to the chassis by means of small weld joints;
• Finishing the chassis by grinding various welds flat;
• Moving chassis using an overhead crane;
• Placing a new tack-welded chassis into the robot manipulator;
• Restarting the welding process.

You work in a 2-shift system. During a shift, you finish an average of four chassis completely.
