• A diploma (at least mbo 3 level) from a relevant vocational training program specializing in interior construction, instrument construction, shipbuilding, and/or woodworking.
• At least three years of work experience as a machine woodworker, (yacht) interior builder, CNC programmer/operator, or production planner.
• 2D and 3D drawings and CNC software hold no secrets for you.
• You work accurately and structurally, with an eye for detail and production efficiency. Your goal: programs that allow the machine operator and furniture maker to get to work immediately and without questions.
• You are fluent in the Dutch language.

At Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer, we build exclusive Feadships: fully custom-made superyachts where quality, technology, and finishing come together. As a production planner for interior construction, you will make an important contribution to unique wooden interior components within the Machinale department.

You ensure that components such as wall panels, stairs, and luxury furniture parts leave the workshop perfectly prepared and ready for installation on board. In this way, you are an essential link in the construction process following detail engineering.

This is what you will be doing as a Production Planner Interior Construction Superyachts

As a production planner for interior construction, you program operations for complex wooden components in a modern machining workshop equipped with high-end CNC woodworking machines. You will work with TopSolid Wood and B-Solid, the control software for the BIESSE CNC machines, among others.

Based on working drawings, production folders, AutoCAD drawings, and DXF files, you translate engineering into efficient, error-free CNC programs. In doing so, you pay attention to sheet usage, cutting layouts, nesting, collection strips, milling paths, tool selection, and the correct parameters.

• Writing and optimizing CNC programs based on 3D furniture drawings from TopSolid Wood or 2D from AutoCAD.
• Checking and preparing cutting packages with wood, veneer, solid wood, and HPL.
• Programming and checking milling and cutting operations in B-Solid.
• Operating the CNC milling machine, for example in the absence of the permanent operator.
• You work according to a clear schedule so that you know where you stand.

You will be successful if you maintain an overview of multiple assignments and deliver error-free cutting and machining programs. Does a change come from the client? Then you think along practically and come up with solutions that suit our custom work.
