Service Advisor in the Netherlands

As a Service Advisor, you receive customers who come to bring their car for maintenance or repair. You ask targeted questions to determine what the customer is experiencing or what is going on with the car, and you translate this into a clear work order for the workshop. This specifies exactly what needs to be checked or performed. During the workday, you keep track of the status of the vehicles in the workshop. You coordinate with mechanics regarding what can be picked up when and ensure that agreements regarding delivery times are met. If things go differently than planned, you inform the customer immediately and explain what has changed and what the options are.

When extra work is required that was not discussed beforehand, you first contact the customer to coordinate the next steps together before the work is carried out. As soon as the car is ready, you go through the performed work step-by-step with the customer and explain the invoice in understandable language. Additionally, you ensure that all work orders and invoices are correctly processed in the system, so that the administration is complete and accurate.

You are enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and know how to use your energy and communication skills to make every customer feel welcome. You have an affinity for automotive technology, think in solutions, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
