Nexton Zaandam provides the foundation for a smart building. Due to current construction methods and insulation possibilities, less energy is needed to heat an object. But at the same time, more is needed to realize the required air ventilation. Nexton offers energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. To optimally maintain the lifespan and effectiveness of these applications, regular maintenance is of great importance.

On-site, you are the central point of contact for your team and you coordinate daily activities with the (Chief) technicians. In between, you will regularly have work meetings at our office in Zaandam.

Your mission is successful if your team has been able to work together in a pleasant, safe, and efficient manner, the customer is satisfied, and the project has been completed as desired.

As a Mechanical Installations Supervisor, you guide renovation and new construction projects from A to Z. This begins with a kickoff meeting with your project team. You are responsible for the execution and realization of mechanical installations on-site. You manage executing Technicians and subcontractors based on your knowledge and experience. You have broad practical knowledge of installations for sanitary, heating, and ventilation. You enjoy applying this knowledge to manage colleagues. You are able to arrange, check, and monitor progress for everything on the construction site or projects.

You ensure that the installation work is realized according to the drawings and provide the necessary work instructions. The size and variety of the types of projects are very diverse. From small to very large! Which projects come under your wing depends, among other things, on your own interest and expertise in the field of mechanical engineering techniques.

For the position of Mechanical Installations Supervisor, we find it important that you are confident and communicate easily with your colleagues and customers.

We also like to see you taking initiative in your role. If you see a part of your work that you would like to improve, then you tackle it, because you want to work as optimally as possible with an eye on design and costs. You want to prevent unnecessary costs as much as possible for optimal execution.

Furthermore, it helps if:

• You have a completed education in mechanical engineering, which is a plus.

• You are eager to learn. What you don't know, we are happy to teach you.

• You have a number of years of experience as a Lead Technician.

• You are customer-oriented and can collaborate well.

• In this position, you will get all the space to develop yourself. You will receive guidance when necessary, but if you want, you will also have a lot of freedom. Moreover, there is plenty of room within the organization to follow training and/or courses. In collaboration with your manager, you will create your own development plan.
